The Return to Nature collection is created to never end up in landfill, instead it will biodegrade, compost and return to the earth at the end of its useful life nourishing the soil in the process. Responding to our climate crisis, and inspired by a quote from environmentalist Arizona Muse, the project is the result of two years of research and innovation.

The Acorn Charm makes a beautiful and playful add-on for our Return to Nature bags. It is crafted from the same leather as the rest of the collection: chrome-free, heavy-metal and aldehyde-free, and finished with Activated Silk™ Technology to allow the charm, should you wish, to biodegrade, compost and nourish the soil at the end of its useful life. This means that it could never end up in landfill. This collection supports Dirt, Muse’s foundation for the regeneration of the earth.

This specially tanned leather will age in its own unique way. To keep it protected from rain spots and water marks, and to feed and enhance the leather, it needs a little more love than other charms: please use our specially developed Chambers Wax to protect the charm.

This leather is sourced from Scan-Hide Swedish farms – endorsed for high animal welfare standards – and finished with a pioneering tanning method, resulting in a chrome, heavy-metal and aldehyde-free product that will age in its own unique way and is able to biodegrade, compost and add nutrition to the soil at end of life if desired

If you decide to return, please send it to us within 14 days. Gifts ordered between the 1st November 2021 and 25th December 2021 can be returned up until the 9th January 2022. See our returns page for more information.
